Voice rooms inside communities

Voice rooms live inside communities. You enter as a listener and step on stage only when you want to speak.

Opening a room

A community owner opens a voice room from the community. Rooms can follow the community: public rooms are open to everyone, private ones to members.

  • Join as a listener without turning on your microphone
  • Ask for the stage, or speak freely if the room allows it
  • The microphone permission is asked once, the first time you go on stage

What moderators can do

The owner and moderators can mute someone, move them off stage, remove them from the room for 10 minutes or ban them from the community for 24 hours.

  • Rooms are not recorded
  • No ads while you are in a room

Common questions

Do I need to speak?

No. Most people listen. You go on stage only if you want to.

How do I leave?

Use Leave. You can rejoin later; nobody is notified why you left.
